This song is a follow-up to a track titled, "Farther From Father" from the Heed This Warning album by Hands On but it has an opposite meaning. The central theme of Heed This Warning was repentance. The central theme of T.S.C. is faith. Faith is the evidence of those things not seen and so being faithfulness to one's mission may lead one to unfamiliar places similar to how Abraham left his famliy for a journey to a promised land.

The only way to advance and get closer to God is to leave behind those things which are a hinderance to your relationship. It is better to be amongst the unfamiliar company of the Holy Spirit then to share dwellings with familiar spirits.
